The Mutter medical museum in Philadelphia wanted a rebrand. This new branding needed to speak to the cutting edge nature of their exhibitions, and pose the museum as a unique day out for anyone, not just medical professionals. The answer is ‘The Medicine Uncensored Exhibit’.
The design aims to play on censorship and intrigue - censoring gory images to make the branding more digestible and to leave the viewer wanting more.
The design features a blurred image overlay that matches the logo and can be applied in different angles to any image.
